Serena Williams Begs For Help Over the Challenge of Her Daughter's Teething

Since welcoming her daughter Alexis Olympia in September, Serena Williams has not held back about how much she loves being a mother. But unlike any of her opponents on the court, Serena is struggling to tackle one of the early challenges of motherhood, and she's asking the internet for help. The tennis champion recently took to social media to vent about her daughter's teething because "nothing is working." She even said "I almost need my mom to come and hold me to sleep cause I'm so stressed. Help? Anyone??"

Just like she recently did when the new mom had questions about breastfeeding, Serena sourced the internet for help. Immediately, the responses poured in with helpful teething tactics and others just offering some parenting advice to the all-star athlete. While no parent ever wants to see their child in pain, it's incredibly reassuring to know that the internet is always here to help, and yes, even a 23-time Grand Slam champion has a million questions about motherhood.

On Instagram, parents shared their helpful teething tricks, including frozen dill pickles, frozen pacifiers, slices of honeydew melon, and more. Below, see the reassuring responses from social media, and if you're a parent with a teething tot, check out these soothing remedies.

This is every single new parent. We've all been there. It is so tough and it is completely okay to want your mom and to want sleep and to want to cry for a hundred years.

People rarely talk about how heart breaking being a new parent is. 11 months in almost and every time I struggle to get her down for a nap I feel like a failure, like this is it!
We need to be reminded we are good enough to be great parents https://t.co/sv218ivqL7

Do get your mom Serena, she's literally being there and done that. She is probably the best help you can get at the moment. This stage will pass. it gets better, promise.
Motherhood is breaking the worlds most accomplished sportswoman down. Damn. https://t.co/QuP4jhQAnQ
