Do You Plan to Be Part of the Black Friday Rush?

Ho ho ho and go go go shopping! Santa's entrance into New York's Herald Square marked the official start of the holiday shopping season. Since the economy is sagging and there are just a limited number of days until Christmas, stores are trying their best to get you though their doors — fast! Big-name retailers are offering incredible door buster deals on the hot items of the season, but you have to be willing to get out of bed early!

Are you going to brave the crowds and sacrifice shuteye for the incredible deals?

No Thanksgiving here so no Black Friday. If I was in the US I would probably go but het out of there fast as I hate crowds in stores.

I have always wanted to. I live close enough the the States that one year I will take this Friday off of work and head over to Buffalo.
Until then, I settle with Boxing Day shopping.

No....I have absolutely no desire to deal with a bunch of crazy shoppers at 5:00 in the morning.

I went out and got some goodies at USAbaby and we went to the mall and got Santa pictures done. It wasn't a mess or really crowded anywhere when we went out.

I ended up having to go to our Mills mall and my head almost exploded. They had line markers outside the Disney store and it was nearly impossible to move at all.

I was able to get my deals from the comfort of my own home. The deals aren't worth fighting all the people. I hate being around that many people, I would rather pay more.

I have no idea why anyone would want to be part of this "herd the cattle" shopping rush

For some people, it's the only way they can afford some of the items for their kids.
