It is totally possible to have a life and romance with one's husband. This should not disappear which I think does happen sometimes after baby and kids. Just wondering how she's managing the drinking and the late night thing having to care for a baby she's nursing.

I personally don't have a problem with any of that. It sounds like they're balancing it well. It isn't good for the children if parents focus all of their energy on their children and don't take time for themselves.

my life revolves and around my kids as i think every parents life should, but there are also times that my fiance and i need alone time and that is okay and healthy i think for everyone, as long as they are being cared for by someone responsible, why not never allow the sparks to fade, keep them alive i learned this from my future mother in law they are hitting their 50th in about two or three years

I think it's great that they've found what works for them. I don't think it works for everyone, but each couple needs to do what makes them happy. They're not neglecting their child at all, and by keeping themselves happy they also make baby happy.

It sounds like they have a very good balance in their lives... good for them!!

You don't even have to pump if the baby doesn't nurse during the night. Like blood, the breastmilk is constantly renewed. By morning, there's no reason she shouldn't breastfeed, assuming the alcohol has left her bloodstream.

And yeah, even if Max does eat during the night, she could've easily pumped beforehand and set aside milk to be used until her blood alchol level goes back down.

I know they were starting to get on her about the late night partying, but it's their business. And my parents could learn something from them, they hardly do anything together as a couple. They have no sparks at all!!

In my opinion it's unhealthy for parents' lives to revolve around their kids. That's a lot of pressure on little people.

My husband and I put our marriage first, and I think our children benefit tremendously from it. Anything to keep the spark there is good
